Our Story

This is a quote that my coach always repeated to me. It’s one of the first things that he ever told me when I started taking lessons from him. To me, it means that anything that you wanna do starts with the idea. The actions that you do become a part of you without even thinking about it. The actions form who you are as a person and your character. The person you are ultimately decides the future for you.
The thought for LetsTennis started because I understood that tennis is an amazing sport for life. I have been lucky to have the resources to train with coaches and get equipment to be able to play competitive tennis. I know that everyone deserves a chance to learn the sport, but it isn’t that simple. With the resources that me and my friends have, we have the ability to directly reach and introduce more to the game of tennis. By building a platform that allows any one of us to share our experiences, we are able to form a community of people that spread their knowledge to enthusiasts who eagerly want to learn the sport. For creating the website and the platform, I took inspiration from 2 other websites GoPeer and TopCourt. Both empower students and players to share their active experiences and learnings they receive at great schools and coaches respectively to benefit the larger community. I’ve always wanted to share the knowledge gained over the years of playing tennis to help others and make the sport more accessible. With this website, we are not only helping the community, but growing the community! -Sid
